Saya menggunakan komputer untuk bekerja dan menghubungkannya ke layar bioskop. Ketika saya meninggalkan pekerjaan, saya kadang-kadang akan memerintahkannya untuk tidur dan kadang-kadang biarkan saja sehingga Time Machine dapat melakukan pekerjaannya. Setiap pagi ketika saya tiba, saya akan mencoba membangunkannya dengan menekan bilah spasi beberapa kali, menggerakkan mouse, menyesuaikan kecerahan, dll. Tetapi setelah beberapa menit kedua layar masih hitam. Terkadang saya akan mencoba mencabut display eksternal untuk melihat apakah layar laptop akan menyala tetapi tidak berhasil. Jika saya menutup tutupnya dan mencoba membangunkannya seperti laptop biasa, tidak ada yang terjadi. Akhirnya saya akhirnya menahan tombol power sampai mati dan reboot.
Ini adalah komputer yang cukup baru sehingga mungkin sesuatu yang saya instal telah mengacaukannya. Saya memiliki berbagai hal yang diinstal untuk pekerjaan, seperti Postgres, Memcache, Redis, beberapa VM Windows, Backblaze, dll. Namun sebagian besar dari mereka tidak diemonemonisasi dan dimatikan pada akhir hari. Di bawah ini adalah log dari tadi malam, mulai setelah tidak aktif pada jam 21:58 sampai saya mem-bootnya pada jam 9:03 pagi dengan menahan tombol power.
