File log kosong

Saya mengetahui bahwa / var / log / pesan saya kosong!

Juga /var/log/auth.log saya juga kosong!

Juga tidak mencatat pesan apa pun.

kami memiliki masalah ini juga. Setelah pembaruan ke Debian 9 pada 2018-06, rsyslogd tidak lagi menulis ke file log.

Dengan berlari

service rsyslog status

Kami menemukan file itu

/etc/rsyslog.d/named.conf

tidak dibaca dengan benar, dan karenanya mencegah rsyslogd tidak berjalan sama sekali.

Kami tidak memerlukan logging Bind9 (DNS) tertentu sehingga kami memindahkan file ke ekstensi yang tidak akan dimuat:

mv /etc/rsyslogs/named.conf /etc/rsyslogs/named.conf.bak

Setelah memulai ulang rsyslogd

service rsyslog restart

auth.log dan file lain sekarang berfungsi seperti yang diharapkan.
