Masalah grafis dan tidur pada Dell Inspiron 15 UHD

Saya mengalami masalah besar dalam mendapatkan Dell Inspiron 15 (7559) yang baru untuk bekerja. Ini adalah yang terbaru, dengan grafis NVIDIA GTX 960M, Intel Core i7-6700HQ Processor (skylake) Generasi ke-6, SSD 128GB, HDD 1TB, dan RAM 16GB.

Saya mencoba menggunakannya dengan Kubuntu 15.10. Boot awal dari drive USB Live diperlukan "nomodeset" di GRUB saat startup, instalasi kemudian berjalan ok, dengan pembaruan diinstal sebagai bagian dari instalasi. Ini meninggalkan "nomodeset" di konfigurasi grub, dan menggunakan driver nouveau, yang bekerja dengan baik tetapi agak lambat, dan laptop tidak akan melanjutkan dari tidur, layar hitam dan tidak responsif pada jaringan.

Saya telah mencoba berbagai kombinasi driver Nvidia (352, 355, 358), Kernel (4.2, 4.3, 4.4rc3), dan memiliki "nomodeset", i915_preliminary_hw_enable = 1 atau tidak ada yang diset pada boot, tetapi apa pun yang saya lakukan saya laptop tidak dapat masuk ke mode nvidia ("prime-select nvidia") tanpa hanya mendapatkan layar hitam, beralih kembali ke "prime-select intel" dan saya mendapatkan grafik kembali. Saya juga tidak bisa membuat laptop Skylake saya bekerja dengan apa pun yang lebih baru dari 14,04 LTS dengan masalah grafis yang serupa. Sudah mencoba 14.10, 15.04 dan 15.10 dan semuanya bahkan tidak dapat melewati tahap instalasi dari Live CD. Kernel 4.xx juga tidak bisa berfungsi. Pada akhirnya saya puas dengan menggunakan 14,04. 8. intel pilih-prima
